Urgent: 7.0-magnitude quake hits Vanuatu Islands -- GFZ

HONG KONG, March 30 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 jolted Vanuatu Islands at 08:44:10 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 122.6 km, was initially determined to be at 15.32 degrees south latitude and 167.37 degrees east longitude.
