BEIJING, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted Fiji Islands at 2044 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 515.3 km, was initially determined to be at 21.06 degrees south latitude and 178.18 degrees west longitude.
